The 9+2 filament pattern of the cilia  refers to the arrangement of the microtubules that  made up the cilia. Figure 9 refer to the cylindrical arrangement   of  9 fused miroctubles found at  the outer layer of Cilia, while the other 2 microtubules which are not fused ,  occupy  the center of the fused mircrotubules . This represent fig 2. Therefore  outer 9 plus inner 2, gives 9+2 filament pattern. This arrangement makes cilia  to have different undulation.

tsd is temerature dependent sex determination.

tsd: it is a type of environmental sex determination in which the temperature experienced during embryonic/ larval development (ambient temperature for development) determine the sex of the offspring.

crocodile displays the tsd where the ambient temperature of the developing egg determines the individual's sex. for example in the american alligator's eggs, incubation at 33 ºc produces mostly males, while incubation at 30 ºc produces mostly females. so if the american alligator's egg will get the ambient temperature (33 degree celcius)during embryonic development from egg, the offspring will be male and same for the female sex determination.

light meters can be used to measure light intensity. the meter is held at the soil surface and pointed in the direction of the maximum light intensity, and then the meter is read.

errors can be made when measuring light intensity by accidentally shading the light meter. the reliability of the results can be checked by taking many samples.
