If sound doesn’t travel or move, then what does when we hear something that originated on the other side of the room?

it is a wave it is longtidnal wave it only moved in a medium it is not able to move in vacuum i.e if you are in space and talk your voice can't be heard bcz sound doesn't travel in vacuum

if sound doesn't move from one place to another you can't hear it

there are so many examples for that in different areas, like biology experiment carried out in our lab recently.
