Imagine you are conducting fieldwork and discover two groups of mice living on opposite sides of a river. design an experiment to determine whether or not these two groups belong to the same species. include some of the flaws of your design. what if you could not disturb the mice at all? how would that effect your experimental design? (hint: you might want to think about previous lectures to heip you design your experiment.) if they are two separate species what two things must have occurred in orderfor them to have become separate species?
