Dimethyl sulfate (dms), a lipophilic dna alkylating agent, is a direct-acting mutagen. in a classroom experiment, it was observed that intravenous injection of dr. denison with high levels of dms produced little dna damage in cells in his liver while intravenous injection into his evil brother skippy, with the same dose (mg/kg) of dms produced a tremendous amount of dna damage in his liver cells. list or briefly describe no more than two physiological, biochemical or toxicological differences between these two individuals that could theoretically account for why skippy got more dms-dependent hepatic dna damage.
