It is a lesion seen in lungs , which is due to the disease tuberculosis .

The composition of lesion is a Ghon focus and a pulmonary lymphadenopathy which is present near the pulmonary lymph node .

The Ghon complex persists the viable bacteria and , hence , making them the source of a long - time infection and which can again activate the secondary tuberculosis some time later in the life .
