In tundra, there is no trees, only shrubs, grasses, mosses, lichens. There is very cold, windy and rainy and a food is reduced. Animals in the tundra are adapted to these harsh conditions. Migration or hibernation can be the way to adapt to tundra. Many animals have hollow fur with trapped air inside, so it serves as an insulation layer and keeps them warm. Some animals have shorter ears and mouth to reduce the escape of body heat. Regarding the food, food eaten by summer is stored as a layer of fat under the skin. Caribou, for example, is able to digest lichens. So, it is a struggle to live in the tundra, but animals adapted in different ways to survive.

Mitochondria is the cell organelle that produced the energy that is needed in the body system in form of atp, that is why it is called the power house of the cell. energy is needed by the living organisms to carry out the activities which sustain life.  if the mitochondria is destroyed atp will not be produced. if the mitochondria is destroyed, energy production will stop and the affected living organism will not have the energy to carry out the necessary life processes; this will lead to the death of the organism.

The answer to this will be from your lab notes/procedure. it would be best to ask another student who participated in the lab as we do not know what was done, what enzyme or if the temperature is celsius or fahrenheit. if i were to guess though i'd say the rate stopped due to enzyme denturing at high temperature
