The synthesis of vitamin D for bile is possible only due to the presence of cholesterol in the blood. Cholesterol is the major part of hormones and steroids. High level of cholesterol depicts the bad health of a person which can lead to several cardiovascular diseases such as heart stroke. High cholesterol is inheritable but can also be due to unhealthy lifestyle. A simple blood test can find out the presence of cholesterol as well as the concentration of cholesterol in the blood.

Insulin: The hormone that is secreted by pancreas and is necessary for the use of sugar from carbohydrates in the body. The insulin keeps a track on the level of blood sugar in the body.
