What obstacles as an artist or person did michelangelo confront in his life?

One of the problems was his family was against his paintings, because his father beat him up.

He faced impossible deadlines, conflicting schedules, professional backstabbing, and powerful and demanding patrons. His homosexuality and unfulfilled yearnings also troubled him.
