What information do you see in this painting and what artist is trying to show?

From observing this painting...

I see a story of a young musician and a young lady falling in love.  If you look closely there is a young lady on the right side that could possibly be the old lady when she was younger.  If you look closely at the old man, you can see there is a man playing the guitar: a musician.  It seems this love story takes place in Mexico because the two young men are wearing sombreros which originate from Mexico.  Continuing the story, the young lady and the musician were together until they were old.
