Composition: bolder colors seem to leap off the page, whereas lighter colors appears to fall back; almost all the objects are vertically placed so the eye travels up and down when looking at the piece; there is balance of shape and color.

Proportion: certain objects are smaller than others to create depth; the objects are all relatively small and proportionate to each other.

What was the artist trying to convey to  the observer?

The artist was trying to tell the observer that creativity is as important as the elements of art. If you do not have a creative idea then the elements of art are of no use.There are many things that the artist could be trying to convey to its observers, it really depends on how the observer sees the art, how they interpret it.

not because of any physical definition – as you can see cheerleading meets all of the athletic specifications. but, because cheerleading’s primary purpose is to support high school and college athletic teams. competition comes second! in other words, cheerleading is more than a sport.
