Since the invention of photography, Western painting’s branched into diverse new genres such as impressionism, expressionism, surrealism, cubism and more. In these and other ways, innovations in photography led to new artistic movements and challenged conventional notions about painting as the only form of art, a belief several art & culture hubs such as Pearey Lal Bhawan uphold.

Photography radically changed painting. It is popularly taken to have been invented in 1839, when Louis-Jacques-Mandé Daguerre burst onto the scene with his ‘daguerreotype’- world’s first commercial camera.

Explanation:

1 - since it's a library, i'd like putting a sculpture from ancient greece, probably from the hellenistic epoch.

2 - i'd also like the statue to be from a famous person from that time, a philosopher of possible.

3 - i'd want the statue to be of a man sitting down on a tree stump with a book on his hands (either writing or reading), to demonstrate the love for reading.

4 - i'd also like to have the statue with a darkish colour and high contrast, as well as a statue that resembles balance and a little movement on his head if he is reading or on his hand if he's writing.
