Rock and roll music in the 1950's played a major role in the integration of American youth. With segregated schools in parts of the country, separate water fountains for blacks and whites and restaurants refusing to serve black guests, the racial tensions were high, especially in the South. In 3-5 sentences, explain how rock and roll music created an environment for integration that wasn't happening elsewhere in society. Be sure to answer in complete sentences using good grammar, punctuation and spelling.
