(digital art) would my art improve if i used thinner lines and use more shapes?

Honestly, I like using thicker lines, but I think if you were going to use thinner lines it would look just as good, if not better, if you darkened the line and brightened its surroundings. Using more shapes isn't a bad option, just don't use so much that your art becomes incomprehensible or meaningless. Don't make the shapes look random, unless you're doing something like a zendoodle.
